Would you use Nicotine patch?

Some smokers like me are planning to quit smoking, but how can we deal with this if we are so addictive to nicotine? A friend once told me about nicotine patch, I am not quite sure if it really helps for me to quit smoking. And if the effects are the same as of the cigar itself, then why do they continue patronize this product?

I dont smoke but i helped my friends and few of them quit smoking.

I have never used the patch, but I have friends who do. The patch is good because it keeps you from getting smoke in your lungs. Some people use nicotine gum or go to their doctor to get medicine. Good luck with quitting smoking!

The patch will continue to administer the nicotine in your system, but there won't be the damage to your lungs from inhaling smoke. I personally have used the patch and because I knew that I had it on, it did deter me from smoking because of the risk I would be taking by smoking with it on.
