Destiny, is it a choice?

I have this belief that destiny is something made by God beforehand but I do believe that God created more than one destiny for us, like as if it's a choice, like a movie where we choose how it ends.Do you believe that destiny is only a matter of choice?

indeed it is to me. it is a choice. the term is serendipity. we are destined to do what we are doing but we are also destined to change it or leave it. this is where serendipity comes. cause we discover something more than we have or found something more than what we want then we choose the other destiny. and that is to change our designated destiny.. gets?

yup. you're right i think they misinterpret destiny as something you don't expect to arrive that made them believe that they were destined for each other..

im thinking that God doesn't control our destiny but He knows where we're heading. He gave us freewill to choose what's good for us, thus, we're all made up of choices and decisions. the decisions we make now determines what we are and will be in the future, and that is our destiny. we create our own destiny

All of us has its own destiny. People say that if its meant to be then that's your destiny which is sometimes this could be mistaken coz often times we don't put efforts to make that destiny a reality. I do believe that it's still a matter of choice that though those chances given to us, that is where our destiny leads, so if you don't chose it, then you won't be able to achive it...God works in different ways, that sometimes we are too blind to see that he's already working it out for us but we are to stubborn to look at it and grab it so, sometimes we fail to follow the right path and later on realize that we haven't gone the right way.

this is really a tough question, I believe in god and that he is in control of everything but he let us control our destiny because we have choices not like animals and plants that lives a one streak life, we can change our destiny according to our choices but some "divine" intervention sometimes drives us to something or away from something..

destiny is true but we make our destiny, predestiny is another thing this is something i don't buy. You are a person with intellect, you make choices thus creating your destiny.
This is my favorite quote in destiny let me share this with you...
"Destiny is no matter of chance, it's a matter of choice, it's not a thing to be waited for, it's athing to be achieved."
