Who is the best? sister or a brother?

I would prefer to have both, one brother one sister, both all older than me. I will then have best of all worlds.

thanks for this topic but first of all never underestimate anybody in that wonderful family be it a sister, brother, younger or older. love them all because blessings come from above. the bible says not by might nor power but by the spirit. the spirit make the difference not man.

I have 2 brothers and never had a sister so i really don´t knw the difference. I love both my brothers and I will never trade them for a sister atleast =)

I have two brothers and one sister..I am very close to one of my brothers..He is older than i am and he looks just like my Dad,whom we lost when I was very young so I would say hes like a father figure to me..The other brother is much younger and I feel like he is my child and not my brother,my sister is also a lot older than all of us and very supportive, so I could not choose between them..If I just had too,I would say my older brother is the one that i can really relate to and share my intermost feelings...I am just crazy about my brother so i suppose it would be him.

According to me sister is more better than brother.I think elder sister is better than younger.I think elder sister would be smoother with love and care.She will take care of all my needs.I will like to accept her as a role model,friend and protector.She will be my best friend. Often she will present me with various kinds of gifts.

I have a very good relationship with my two sister. We are very close. One is younger than me and the other is much older. I have three brothers. The only one I don't have a good relationship with is the older one and I think that is because of his wife.

i have cousine sister , i am not in contact with her for long time but has a real brother and then 11 cousin brithers too where i am in contact of all of them very much.....the brother bonding in our family is very great, and we fight a lot , as of today we are all over spread in country as dealing with different proffessions , once in a year we all together meet at our villege home to have a bash party and sometimes it happens for twice also,,,,,,,so i can say sister is good but then my bros are the best .........cheers

i am an only child and all my life i have been dying to have an elder brother. i guess i'm the kind of person that has the need to feel protected in one way or another. now i have that protection but from my boyfriend. i've always wanted a big brother but it could have never been possible logically and cronologically speaking...lol... i don't think i could be a good big sister because as long as i am always in need for protection i could never offer it completely... anyway, maybe if it were for me to have a younger sister/brother, things would have become different, who knows?

I have only one living sibling,my younger brother.FOr me,the gender of the sibling won't identify if he or she will be the best sibling..it all depends on the bonding and the depth of the relationship. I'm the eldest and i always dreamed of having an older brother or a sister..but it doesn't mean that life will be smoother with an elder sister or brother coz it all depends on how you handle life..

HA!Adorable younger bro/sis.....they dont stay young forever.I have a younger sister and shes a teenager now and shes a BRAT!!She thinks she knows everything.And my older sister ...well we get along now that were older.When we were younger we fought every single day.I have 7 bros and sis and im the second oldest.We have our disagreements but overall we need eachother and i dont know lifw without them.My daughters 8yrs old and i have a 2yr old son.Shes real good with him.He wants to sleep next to her and hold her hand while hes sleeping.Each one has thier place.A brother to protect and a sister to guide.

Siblings should be interrelated, that's the ideal. No one is best or is worst. I have an elder sister and two younger brothers. I make it to the point that I mingle with them fairly so I could build a healthy relationship with them equally. Even though I got no older brother, I still could say that everything's the same. Whether your sibling is a brother or a sister and whether that persong is older or younger than you do - all are definitely the same! What matters is you acquaint with them as often as possible and build that strong camaraderie withing yourselves. Selecting of who's the best is truly a bias thing to do. It doesn't help you in reaching the family's goal to be as one because through such act, you'll be spending more time to the one you think who can go along with you. So, better off that butthead thingy and still in mind that having them in your life is such a blessing!

i have two brothers and 2 step sisters. they are all yonger than me and to tell you the truth, i love them all the same. i love them so much! i could never say that i choose one over the other. we all grew up very close, and like great friends. even til this day...me and my other brother are married and have already started a family, the other 3 siblings are still too young for family, but old enough to drive and get around. we still make plans to get together every once in a while. i am pretty sure they feel the same as me. none of us would pick a favorite brother or sister. all of our love is equal to eachother.

Speaking from personal experience I have a better relationship with my sisters. I come from a family of ten children of which I am the youngest. By the time I came arround my brothers had moved away from home so I never really got to know them. I am fortynine years old and my oldest brother is seventy two. That's a big age gap. I don't remember him as a child and I'm afraid to say that I still don't know him. He is actively involved in my life now but I find it hard to get to know him. I recently lost my other brother to leukemia a month ago and am sorry to say that we did not communicate very well. My third brother lives away and I don't know him either. As for my sisters, we are all very close. WE are seven girls and we are very supportive of each other. Since I am the youngest in the family I don't know what it would be like to have a younger brother or sister. As the seven of us girls get older we seem to get closer. So for me, it is my relationship with my sisters that is the best.

Since im a guy i probaly get along better with my younger brother since we share the same intrests.Sure we get in arguments some times but its all cool. :)

if i were elder i would like to have sister because she will be quite but if i were younger i would like to have brother to learn from him and he will be like my father take me with him at any go out

i have 3 sis all r elder than me,all r nice,but,i have no experience about elder bro,it could be possible if i had elder or younger bro or younger sis than i could be more happy
