Cooking for 4 on a budget

I would love to have some input on how to cook/shop on a tight budget to feed a family of 4. Any recipes/shopping lists/plans would be appreciated.

sign up for their newsletter. i love it. the best tips and you don't have to search for it. on tuesdays they send general saving tips and on thursdays they send menu and recipe tips. got a nice cake recipe today. and it feels as if they are so nice and friendly. the lady even responds when you write to her. I have searched high and low and theirs is the best i have found. it works for me. good luck.
