How did/ will you spend your 23rd birthday???

I'm 29 right now but I did remember celebrating my 23rd birthday on an out of town trip to Laguna here in the Philippines of course. I took charge of all the expenses and treated all my closest friends out in a popular spring resort over a weekend overnight. No regret thus it was a very memorable experience. :)

OMG! My wife threw a surprise BBQ party for me! I was so thrilled. She made my favorite food, which is Steak and of course hamburgers! And I can't forget the cake! Then after the party we went to a club and had some fun dancing, until dawn. After we waited for the sunrise. This was one of the best birthdays ever! Hopefully yours will be too! Hmmm. When I turned 23 my mother in law to be threw me a small family party with a cake. I think that was the first time anyone got me a cake for my birthday since I was 17 or 18, lol. She is so sweet. Most of the day was spent waiting for the UPS man to bring my new computer. So after the little party I went home and hooked the computer up and was happily playing games the rest of the night. That was my big birthday, lol. Oh, I was also 2 1/2 months pregnant and got married about 3 1/2 weeks later. I haven't had anyone do anything for my birthday since then. I'm surprised if my husband even remembers. I think the kids remembered last year before he did and he still didn't do anything for me (I turned 30 last year).

I know that it was a long time ago, more than half my life, in fact. I was pregnant with my first child, and the weather was incredibly hot, as I live in Kansas, and my Birthday is in August. I cannot be certain, but we probably went to Oklahoma, to visit my family. I am sure there was cake, and icecream.

My 23 birthday was almost incredibly lame. At first I thought I wouldn't get to celebrate at all because of my crappy work schedule and some obligations my family had. But then everything fell into place. I worked on my actual birthday, but my mom took me out for lunch. The next night my sister had a very special fondue dinner for me. Then the next night we had a big crab dinner with sundaes for dessert. What was looking like a pretty crappy birthday turned into a three day celebration!

18 and 21 are more important i would think

I am 35 on the 2th and I'm hoping most people have forgotten to be honest, mylot I can cope, people coming round with presents and cards expecting my to be all excited I can do without, I get the blues about my birthday and would rather it passed quietly, lol.

I planned for a small gathering last year with some friends in a restaurant. But it ended up only my best friend turned up. I can't blame my friends because I told them last minute.

Wow that would be great if you could get together with your family and friends for your birthday and have a roasted pig we did this for my daughters birthday when she turned 21 it was a great treat for her and it is the custom of my husband to do this. I am way passed 23 now and I think that I just had a small party at home with my family.

23rd?? That's a long time ago for me..Lets see. I know I was at Kadina teaching. I was sharing a house with two other teachers. So, it's most likely I had friends around & we all brought a plate of food. For you? I think your idea of roasted pig sounds great. Also have some salds and deserts. If it is too much for you to prepare, ask your friends to bring one plate of food each. Don't forget the drinks. Good Luck.

I don't celebrate my birthday with cakes and ice creams anymore, but for my 23rd I went to a restaurant and then had a small party with some friends. Nothing special, just like every year.

All these years,I spend my birthday with friends.Almost without my family,and I feel so sorry for it.Because of studying far away ,I spend my time at school,just about 2 months at home.

i just celebrated it with some delicious foods on the table.. that's all. enough food to make me think that this day is kind of different among the rest. sad..

At first i congratulate on your 23rd birthday in advance! Happy birthday ,of course,happy is the most important,you are happy the all happy. i never getted a self-birthday party and just eated moodles named longevity with my family.it is a custom in my hometown ,a small village in the east of China. Now i will go on a tour to celebrate my next birthday with my friend after several months!

I spent it with my family and friends like I always do. We eat cake and ice cream and I get presents.

23 was so long ago that I just don't remember what I did. I can't remember the last time I had a birthday cake. The last birthday party was when I was 5. Mother didn't like them. My birthday is a few days after my hubby's. So we usually combine the celebration and go out for dinner to a really nice restaurant.

dont know abar that 1 but i know how i,m gonna celebrate me 41st..lol..as i cant remember how i celebrated me 23rd..was young then...still am..lol..jdxx.

(what an un luck, tht only 3 months is left for me to become 23)othere wise i could have give u a fulll description if u had asked 3 months after . any way i like to give u a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U , MAY U HAVE A prosperous year with u.any way i will sujest a goo d thing u can do on that day . help some on , that is the beat thing u can give yours self and the person u are helping , i will not sugest that u shouldnt enjoy ur birthday , obviously we are so young if we didnt celebrate it now when are you going to celebrate it , u can go to outing with ur boy friend(provided u have one). any way i will suggest to give some money to some poor (that also provided u have some), or u can help some old people , these all are jst suggestions , u cna make out what u have to do , any way give a consideration about what i havew said ,once agian wishing you a prosperous year ahead
