What are some natural remedies for seasonal allergies?

I live in the South, and I am already suffering from allergies. I used claritin, but it is no longer working. I need natural remedies to alleviate allergy symptoms. I hate putting to much drugs in my body. I prefer a natural approach. What remedies have you tried? How effective were those remedies?

Well i am in TN. so i do know how you feel. I was coming here to tell you to try honey from a local bee keeper!LOL I guess you know to try that!LOL I hope you are feeling better after the rain, Bye neighbor!

I deal with allergies and sinus pressure year round so I understand what you are going through. I used to take allergy meds constantly until I found the netti pot, I use one by SinuCleanse. It comes with saline packets to mix with water and to clean your nose and sinus passages out daily. I rarely have to use meds now unless I get a sinus headache.

If you have a local bee keeper in the area that makes their own honey try some of that. Eating honey from your area with help with allergies as you become more immune to the pollen that is in the honey.
