what's the best alibi? bestfriend of ex???

my bestfriend invited me to her birthday at her house. i really like to come but when i heard that my ex will be there too, i decided not to come. i dont want to turn my bestfriend down but i couldnt face my ex...the past still hurts. i wasn't over him yet...what should i do?

tell her you don't want to come because of your ex...she is your bestfriend ryt? then she'll understand you..
