My baby boy just said his first words and fortunately for me his said dadda! Well, at least thats what I think he said. My wife is adamant this is not the case, but what does she know (just kidding). My boy is now 9 months old and his name is Blaise. He's named after a French religious philosopher (known for, Pascals Wager). What was your babies first words and how long did it take before they started talking? I'm curious because it was such a proud moment for me, I thought it would be a proud moment many of you would like to share.

I am confused. Didn't you recently post a question about your girl friend and whether or not you should pop the question??

I remember when my older daughter was 5 months old... I had spent the day chatting with her as we moved through what needed to be done. Over and over, I said, "say Mama... say Mama..." but she just looked at me. That evening, on a whim, I said, "say Dada" and I'll be darned if she didn't immediately say, "DADA!" ... and quite loud too LOL I guess the "d" sound really is easier for them than the "m" sound - that's my reasoning and I'm stickin' to it! LOL
