I love this show, and make it a habbit of watching it with my family. It amazes me how many sick jobs that are out there. My favorite ones are when he had to jack a horse and the sperm was like worth alot of money, and then he had to pregnant the other horse...Yea it was great!
It just amazes me. The other type of job i watched was when he had to clean the inside boiler of a ship...that was scary. The space was soo small i would never get in it.
Whats your favorite eps.?

I really like this show as well. Mike Rowe makes it very entertaining. Love all the shows but my favorite was when they show the parts that got edited and the scenes they did not air. Makes us all realize what is all involved in other people's occupation. like the humor the show has. did you like the deadliest catch series?

One of the best shows on TV. I have all of them on DVR, and burned them to DVD. I liked the episode where he was catching the water snakes. Watching him get bit over and over again was hilarious. I do like that they try to add as much educational content as possible., it's not just some guy playing in pooh ;-)

Yeah I liked the mud bath one. Where he had to get his own mud and all this stuff together then make the mud, with ashes and gunk then he could take the bath. And people pay big money to do kind of stuff. That show is neat when I do get to watch it. It's amazing to see all the dirty jobs that people have to do then when someone complain about their jobs then you can tell them about that.

I love that show. It shoes that there are alot of people out there who have some of the worst jobs out there just to put food on the table. My dad is a sheetrocker( he puts up sheetrock). He comes home every sing day coverd in a bad smelling dust from head to toe. Im glad they are giving some of these people the credit they deserve

I wonder if this show is still even on anymore. I remember seeing one about a ship, and them showing how most people would never fit in there. But there are a lot of jobs out there I am sure that most people would not want, and the amazing thing is most of these jobs are really well paying jobs because of this.

I love them all. How he went from an opera singer to this gig, though, is beyond me. lol My husband and I watch the new episodes when they come on. We have the DVR set to record them, just in case we aren't home. Wouldn't wanna miss one! I even love the reruns! He's so funny! I also couldn't believe some of the jobs they have come up with for him to do! Owl vomit collector? Are you kidding me? lol

I've heard of this particular tv show already and if my memory still serves me right, it is locally aired by a cable channel through the Lifestyle Network. A lot of other mylotters also mentioned this one show in one of the discussions they've created. But admittedly, I have never watched this show because some of my younger siblings whom we (my husband, our daughter, and me) live with in a rented two-storey house prefer other local tv shows aired at the same time as Dirty Jobs.
But there are other shows which I do love watching from this same network, like Iron Chef America, Martha Stewart Living, How Clean is your House?, and a lot more shows from them.
Anyway, I guess by next month during the holiday season, I'll be able to take some time out to watch some shows including this show you mentioned here. Aside from this, I guess several months from now I will have more time to be a homebody and spend more quality time with our daughter since the company I'm working with for nearly four years now is planning to close shop due to financial crisis.

I just recently watched a rerun of one of those shows. Mike Rowe was in the sewer in San Francisco with a city sewer inspector. It was a tunnel that was only 3 feet by 5 feet in size. It had roaches falling off the ceiling on him and rats crawling below him. He walked for a whole block under ground through waste with this inspector before they got out.I don't think that is a job I would want.
