Now I am happy to annouce that I am up to date. I have resolved all my old discussions (only one page unresolved those also new ones), everyday, i am checking whether I have received any respond to the discussions I have replied day before and comment on them if necessary. Plus I reply to the responses I receive on the discussions I started. So now its smooth and I am in no rush on myLot now. I have enough and more time to respond to discussions. How about you my friends?

Yes, i can vouch on that. I received my first payment last November. Now i have set my pay out amount to 100. So i think it will take a little time. I think you are a new commer and this is my advise to you. If you want to enjoy myLot, dont think about how much you will earn per each post. Good luck and welcome to myLot.

Oh mine are all up to date as far as I know Sheri, but I have been doing them within a week or so after I start the discussion. At first I didn't do it that way, but then they piled up so changed the way that I operate.
When I start a discussion, once the responses start to come in, I rate the really good ones with a positive and make a comment etc. I will generally wait till the responses trickle down and then go through them all. It means that one of those that I have already given a positive rating to will also get the best response, but doing it this way does mean that if I get a lot of responses, it narrows the field down a little. Also it is at least a week after I start a new discussion before I give out a best response, for the simple reason that some people are not here every day and maybe only once a week. Yet if they give a great response, it might actually be the best one and I would like to give everyone the opportunity to respond if they want to and can.

Actually thats what happened to me. I had pages and pages of unresolved discussions. I think what you do is best. Actually, even i dont respond discussions as and when i receive. I still have quite a number of discussions in my mail box saved separately, which i will respond when i have time.
Thanks for giving a practical response. Have a nice day.

have you made good money on here or do you just do it for fun?

I have made so far only 64$. I dont think its big money for 7 months! But it gives me a lot of pleasure more than the amount I earned cos I have found nice and concerned friends from around the world, i have gained a lot of knowledge and I also was able to see different point of view. So all in all, i think the time i spent on myLot is worth very much more than the money value of it.

It's my 4th day on MyLot. I find this site EXCELLENT. There are so many interesting discussions and the best part is that you also gt paid for it! I post more and more each day, and i am making better and better discussions, I hope, because my first discussions weren't so popular :D

Your workload is very much heavier than my considering the number of discussions. But still, you will one day be able to finish it and breath a sigh of relief. It sure is a tough job as you say, to select b/r. A couple of discussions, i just keep without selecting, cos, i just cant pick one. Such discussions, i give + ratings to everyone. I wish you luck.

You dont check your discussions? I dont understand. Do you mean that you dont read the responses u receive on your discussions & reply at least a few of them? if this is the case, i am sorry to say this, but its not a very healthy practice. Plus if you dont answer your replies, that is hardly a discussion. Please think about it.

I have it set up so responses to my discussions are emailed to me. That way I can read all the responses. I don't always reply to every response, but I do read them.
I usually select a best response and resolve my discussions within 4 or 5 days of starting them. That seems to work out easiest for me.
I scroll through my friends discussions and respond to the ones I think I can add something to the discussion. Other times I scroll through the discussions in my interests. I also look on the home page and other top discussions.
I don't do a whole lot of posting and responding everyday overall. Maybe 5-10 posts a day.
That's what works for me?

We work almost same. I also read all responses and rate them accordingly. But if i have to say something only, i will respond. I also do max 20 posts a day. That is very rarely i post 20. Usually its 10-15. This way its easy to track down.

That's awesome! I'm trying. I've only been here a month and so far I'm doing okay.. I'm still trying to figure everything out. I hope by 7 months I'll be up to date and caught up too.

Congratulations for your achievement and still staying with mylot after 7 months. I've met another member who already 9 months stay with mylot. You become the second longer member I ever met in mylot. I joined mylot around 4 weeks ago and don't know how long I can stay here. Do you think we will meet again for another 7 months?

Yes. You have to participate in discussions from your friends for sure. Thats the meaning of having friends. Plus you have to respond to others as well, if you have time. I do it all the time that is when ever i see something that i can comment on, i will do it. Sure it takes a lot of time. But i think its worth.
