Do you feel a need to make plans? Or you feel better without planning?

I am the type of person who like freedom and surprise. So, to do planning is a miserable thing for me. And because of my such characteristic, I never did proper planning for most things in my life. I like to see the natural outcome and expect surprises in my life (of course I mean good surprise, not bad one LoL)

Glad to know that we are quite similar when come to making plans LoL. In fact I observed the same thing too on my side. I made more and more plans when I am growing older. Maybe that's what we call getting matured. But still, I prefer working things which does not need lot of planning :) Because planning is really tedious and tiresome for me.

Hum, for me? I always have to plan ahead! It's get too uncomfortable and too stressful if I don't. The sooner that I plan something the better! Thanks for asking! :)

LOL--I'm really big on planning...I have a book that I write down my basic goals of what I want to do for the month..then break it down in another book planner for the week, then in yet another for what I want to do for the next day...the only reason I'm so fanatical about this is that, before I did all this, my life was very haphazard...sort of aimless...I mean I did know basically what I wanted to accomplish, but somehow if you have these plans/goals mapped out in front of you one is more likely to get it done....of course, I do have to allow for days when something "unplanned" comes up..but I don't get upset...I just try to make up for it the next day...Then there are days that I do keep completely open...

Hi pyewacket:) here is another late reply for you LOL
I have a habit to do important or necessary things at first, and than I relax or stay lazy. So when it is something really important, I do it. Less important things can wait. But I forget about them sometimes. And they wait too long. So I do not plan when I'll do something, I note it on a card of paper and put it in a visible place - just to not forget about it. When I have a time or mood to do it, I'll check my list and choose something:)

I'm not big on not planning. I have to have everything set before I decide to go on a trip or what not. I need to know what's going to happen, what we'll need, what we'll do first, all of that fun stuff. I get frustrated if things don't play by the book, because I like having structured things. I know life doesn't always go as planned, but what can you do? I'd rather it went as planned though, it'd certainly be nice.

Thans for sharing your opinion:) I understand and respect the need of making plans, even if I have no need to do it. I was curious what about other people, if there is more people who need to make plans besides my sister and my boyfriend:) Who's in majority.

I haven't the need to make plans, maybe when it's really necessary. But my sister (and best friend in one person) and my boyfriend have huge need to make plans. So I use to make plans because of them:) I do many things with them, so I had to make appointments. They feel uncomfortable when our common activities are unplanned.
But when it comes to party or little voyage, it is almost always more exciting, when unplanned.
