Can love be measured?

How much do you love your partner, parents, siblings or friends? Can we really measure love? I remember asking my bf "how much he loves me?"...and he said SOOOOO MUCH!!! Do you think that's enough? I really don't know! I was once told by my ex that he loved me more than his life....awwww! That is so flattering! So everytime I asked my current bf how much he loves me...he never answer me that way but I know he loves me so much. So far being loved more than your partners life is the best answer for me, lol... How about u? How would you answer if you were asked by someone you love or your partner on HOW MUCH you loved them???
