A serious question

I have been looking a lot for opportunities to work online and make a few bucks. But most of the sites that I have visited ask for a small amount to get oneself registered.
This is what I do not understand, don't these sites make money through the advertisers, then why do they ask for money from the users. I am very skeptical about these sites and close the tab before even reading further.
Anybody has any idea about how genuine this stuff is and if it genuine how do the system works.

I'm not really sure how sites like that work. I would be very cautious of anything that asks for money up front, as it is likely a scam. All the sites that I am part of are free.

Same with me, I register only in free sites. I don't have much training in software and stuff either but still I can do a lot of useful stuff that is why I am always scouting for sites which can utilize my capability. There is no easy money out there and sites such as 'earn money easy' and the like are biggest put offs.
Anyway I think a few like minded people can be of real help to each other and this is the reason I has posted this question.

If you ask me I would say those sites are scams. It is advisable not to register with such sites. We look for opportunities online to make money so what's the point in paying them when they are supposed to be paying us? Stay away form such sites, you are more likely to lose money than make it.

You really have to be careful when engaging yourself into programs like these. They will have you sign up but with a cost. Which is not reasonable at all. If these programs are not scams why do they have to ask money from us. But I believe there are still those that are legitimate and if you put the right effort and time into it you'll earn somehow. But be careful in joining you might end up broke because of this.

Hi Guys
Continuing the topic further I would like to add that there is no need to spend money online. Infact you can earn for just being online. You dont have to surf. Just keep your computer on and connected to the net. It will earn for you. I have tried it and I am earning. Dont believe me.

I have also been looking for opportunities to work online. I have heard of people doing an actual job online but I haven't come across anything which I would call genuine. My first rule is that if they ask you to pay them then it's not genuine. There's no way of checking if these sites are real but the way I see it is, if I want a job, that meas working for someone else and that means they pay me. I wouldn't walk into an interview and hand over money for the company to employ me so there is no way I would do it online where I have no idea where that money would go anyway.

One thing I have learned from mine and as well as other's mistakes is that you should not pay any sites any money there are a few sites that are good and free too. But finding them is like finding meedle in a haystack. I would recommend joining getafreelancer.com, it is free and do not ask you for money upfreont. You can bid on the projects without paying anything. later if you want to and going is good you can upgrade its membership. I joined the site recently when one of mylot member reffered to me here in answer to my discussion and I am trying to find some work online, lets see id something comes up I will certainly tell you about it.

I have never tried a money earning site where you have to pay something in advance.
