need suggestion... upgrading to DSLR,,,

both are equally good cameras. Go to www.dpreview.com to find more information and reviews of both cameras. I would suggest that you go to the camera shop and have a feel of both camera. The one suits your grip, ergonomic, etc will be the winner

I think if you want fast shutter speed,I think 30d is much better as they come with 5fps and 400d just come with 3fps.For 400d it is using plastic frame and also too small and doesn't coming with good hand feeling.But one good thing is that they have automatic dust sensor unit and clear up the dust every time you on and off the camera.And 400d comes with higher resolution with 10million mega pixels.For 30d is only 8million mega pixels.It really depends on what is your favor and what you need most!Just browse more local website and those commentary about those cameras!Or just go to those electronics shop to have a try!I hope you can buy your favorite camera and enjoy it soon! I am a student and saving money for my first d-slr camera!
