Some Indonesians attracted when they hear something that labeled other countries like USA, Singapore...etc.
Many people prefer to send their child to study overseas than to study here. Hospital in Singapore full with Indonesian that not satisfied with hospital in Indonesia.
Is everything that come from this country is always suck? Why many people feel cool to mention anything labeled other country? (Even we haven't know that it si better or not)

The goverment doesn't give out an attention to the citizens...

Whoa..I feel "slapped" lol. But it doesnt mean that I am not a nationalist because I am one. Whenever I go shopping, I always look for the tag 'made in indonesia'. I aplaud the producer for being confident enough to be a good Indonesian. So, I buy their products to as my appreciation to them. In case of medical services, I should say I still cant trust our doctors. Too many malpracticism, and it is something that is no compromise. So, I did go to Penang for medical reason. But, however I am proud to be Indonesian, no matter what :)

I think it is not only happen in and by Indonesian, but universal problem in developing countries. Lack of confidence, the inferiority complex. A great many
people suffer from them. What causes them?
As I have gotten to know, over the years, various
people who seemed to abound in confidence I have come to
realize that they often lacked seriously in good judgment and good sense, weren't especially knowledgeable, and that they were sometimes very ignorant, foolish people. So what causes these complexes?
1. Odd weaknesses and inabilities that a person may have that he becomes increasingly sensitive about.
2. Trying to do hard things; setting hard tasks for oneself; having high standards for oneself; having high expectations for oneself.
3. Focusing so intently on difficult tasks that one has committed himself to that he loses sight of the forest for the trees, that he loses that important mental & emotional balance that tells us what is important is life and what isn't; that sense of just how important one thing is relative to other things (unimportant things take on a lot of importance to you and important things are forgotten and lost sight of).
