It is hard to tell who I love most. If I want permission to get something I want, for example an expensive toy, joining a schoolmate picnic party which may cost a lot to the family financial burden (because we were very poor when my parents are still alive.), I alway go to ask my Dad to persuade my mother. Either one of them were sick or having trouble, my heart would feel sad equally. So I can't tell which one of them I love better.

Hi! My opinion is the answer may be based on what age you are now. If you are still on your teens like maybe until age 21 (???) you can have both options. Sometimes you need them to guide you as a parent. But as you go older, like 25+ and above, prefer to treat them as friends. You are now old enough to make decisions on your own and enjoy or suffer the consequences of it, without your parents feeling responsible for it. It's actually nice having a 'friend' relationship with your parents. I actually am enjoying it right now. Cheers!

he he he... if my view its up to the parents da.. thy shouls nly understand abt their children, how to be with them.. so its not like that , that evry one should be very friendly with thier kids r like that.. any way the best way is as if u hve told...

ya ofcourse we must love our parents, it is they who took care of us from our childhood, as it is they who taught us to walk when we were not able to walk, i after God there are here to protect us, so i also adivise every body to respect ther parents. so take care bye
