I need your suggestions on web hosting

Hello everyone, I want to hear some of your suggestions, which is about web hosting.
Can anyone suggest some good free hosting (with no ads) and some cheap paid hosting in the internet?
Besides, can anyone suggest some site that can register cheap domain name?
Any kind of help would be appreciated. =)

I have used Hostgator ( http://www.hostgator.com )in the past .Their service is very good .They have three options and the shared hosting is cheap.But one that I haven't tried personally and yet know that it is awesome for the price they charge is Vodaphone.They will give you all kind of support on their forum. They have a software that is much easier to build the site with than frontpage or dreamweaver.The software is free.You can upload it to the site site you purchase hosting through them.They also provide you many free templates to choose from.The last time I checked it ,it was $6.95/month.Both Hostgator and vodaphone sell cheap domain name.Here is the vodaphone oficial site link. http://www.vodafone.com

Yup, I remember Hostgator! But I never know that vodafone provide web hosting services, let me check this out.

It's actually bluevoda .Here's the website : http://www.bluevoda.com They have many video tutorials on building a website with their own software and it's free.You can also try their forum where they provide all the customer support if you use their hosting.Sorry for the wrong name,Xenon.

You can try www.bravehost.com They offer $8.95 for one year hosting. And they offer $0.99 for .info domain, but the .com or .net is quite expensive.
I know one site that offer a very cheap hosting plus a free domain name but it's in Indonesian. For one year of hosting + domain name they offer for $16.5. I don't think you are an Indonesian do you ?

For techstream.in, I don't know much about it. Where does is located? It seems that its prices are not is USD.

hello dear most of the web hosting compnies those who are provind free serices are either providing with adds or free services would be for very limited period say a month. i haven't come accros ant company yet who is providing you adds free web space how ever like as yahoo is providing a directory over yahoogeosites but its not subdomain i think this space would be adds free u can check it up if u find a better one pl do tell me also

blogger is the best i feel. it offers almost all the features a paid web host offers. but if you want to have a site with your domain name, go to 5freegb.com. they give you 5gb of space, 20 gb of bandwidth and give good support, all for free.

What does the .in extension stands for does .in means india or .in means an internet.I receltly saw the domain www.webhostings.in and got confused any idea.Also I am form India so what would be the best domain for my website thanks

I have seen this one just now I don't know whether you have already got a free website or not but I want to give you this information. 50webs.com, freehostia.com are the 2 sites which are free web hosting with no adds. Be careful with the spelling of freehostia.com because if you don't give it correctly some horrible sites are being opened
