Yeah, my stupid self did smoke, but my smart got the message and quit on Dec. 19, 1989. Sometimes I wonder how I ever did something that smells so horrible. I had a friend who said I smelled like a wet ashtray and that I needed to stop. So he kept hounding me, until I went and had accupuncter and I was finished in 15 minutes and never smoked another Newport.

I do smoke in Past, but never tried to quit it. I had just kicked it away from my life.

Yeah unfortuntely I do smoke. I have quit and started back up again I dunno how many times. Quiting is one of the hardest things I wish I never started. As soon as I lose the weight I need to lose I will quit and for good this time. I heard you gain weight when you quit smoking. So hopefully this time it will be for good...lol.

Some people do gain weight because they eat to keep their mouth occupied. Good luck with the quitting! Thank you for responding!

I've never smoked and don't plan to. I've heard that a few puffs for the heck of it can lead to a hellish addiction.

I use to smoke but, I didn't inhale. I think that is why I could quit so easily. My father had smoked for years and he would try and quit but, couldn't. God Bless

That is good about it being easy to quit for you, it can be very difficult as I am sure you realize from your father. Thank you for responding!

I tried smoking when I was younger, but couldn't understand what the big deal was so it didn't last long for me...
