It's the season of Lent again. Now if you're Catholic, you'd know what that means. If you're not, it's the 40 days where we're supposed to fast / abstain from all the things that we love so much. It's to commemorate the 40 days that JC spent in the desert resisting temptation and so on.
What do you think about Lent? Do you fast or abstain? Me, I fast a little and at the same time try to lost some weight and during the season, I make it a point to go to mass every sunday (after all, it's just 4 sundays). This is also the only time of the year that you'll see me in the confessional.

Well if I am living with my mumit means eating no meat or oil for 40 days..only vegetarian..but the food is awesome..We have great quisine and it doesn't feel like fasting at all lol. I think it is important when abstaining fromsomething we like to reflect and try to get rid of other bad habits or weaknesses we have..i.e we should internalise what we are ritually doing by external means.
