How do you manage your nannies?

I'm a young mother of a 1-year old girl and right now, I have 2 househelpers. One that generally takes care of the house and one that looks after my daughter when I'm not around. Both are relatively young and tends to be very playful. How do I tell them without offending them to manage their time between work and play?

Just tell them that they shouldn't forget about the housework. Say it nicely because if you don't they might thing you're too strict. Besides, they have the tendency to talk behind our backs, we wouldn't want that to happen.

thanks for the advice ciaosamson. although i think that no matter how nicely i say it, they get hurt one way or the other. their still in their teens you know, and one yaya even cried when i called her attention about going somewhere without asking permission! i don't want to be rude but i don't want my standards compromised either.
