'Unity In Diversity' is it true or false?

In todays world does every people treat each other equally or not? What is your thinking? Does the language, dressing & food styles etc. of a person matters when compared with an other person's abilities, whose life-style is totally different from the other person.

I was a member of AIESEC. Are you familiar with it? It's a student-run organization and it's exchange-based. One of the concerns of the organization is bringing cultures together.
In my experience with the organization I saw that not all people of different cultures treat each other equally. But what's really important is that we accept and respect each other's differences.
