use a soft wet towel and gently damp it to your laptop screen

I heard wiping it with a damp paper towel or lintless cloth of part vinegar or water helps. I have no idea where I learned it, except it was on an internet forum. But keep away from Windex and similar products, they ruin the finish.

I'd get one of those anti static wipers or a dryer sheet that's been thru the dryer once so its soft. I have one of those little screen cleaners from some insurance company that was a gimmie at some insurance fair that also works.

ofcourse use a soft small piece of cloth but i am not sure how much is it good to do it with a wet towel. If at all we can do it with a wet cloth then be sure that u r doing it after a few hours after the use of laptop as the screen may be still hot(warm).
According to my sense i guess wet cloth can't be used ! as the LCD screen may get spoiled just search a bit more in internet about this.

First and foremost always clean your laptop while its switched-off. you can use a vacume cleaner to sweep off the dusts from the key pads, but the most crucial part is to clean the screen , for that i would suggest use a soft dry towel, and brush the screen very gently.
