Hi all, dh won an older ipod shuffle a while back and gave it to me for Christmas. I still haven't been able to use it as I can't seem to get it to work.
I've followed all the directions I can find, but I feel like I'm missing something.
It's fully charged, but when I hold the play/pause button down I should get a blinking light to show me it's on hold, but I never get anything other then a steady green light.
What good websites are out there (other then the ipod/apple) site, that will tell me step by step how to totally redo/restart this thing?

I had the same problem with my 1st generation iPod Shuffle when I got it. I was told to make sure my Windows were updated and to be sure I was using a USB 2.0 port. My computer is a few years old so it came with the older USB ports on it. I did everything I was told to do and my iPod still didn't work so I took it to the Genius Bar at an Apple store. The guy fixed it with no problem and I haven't had a problem with it since.
