Why WOMEN CRAZY FOR GOLD?

Ladies from Asian countries are crazy for gold ornaments specially in India if you happen to see women in weddding houses you can notice each lady will be wearing not less than 25 soverigns.I dont think these ladies are attractive in their gold jewels but they do because of prestige.But if they wear one or two items made in gold offcourse they will be impressive.
If they are rich enough to buy its ok but even middle class women buy gold ornaments taking loan allowing parents or husbands to become debtors.Indian parents suffer a lot to buy sufficient gold ornaments to give their daughter in marriage.In these civilised society many marriages could not take place because of jewels demanded by grooms parents. Why cant they realise people born to live with decency rather than demanding jewels in the name of dowry.Unless otherwise grooms realise their life partner should be smart, educated and well mannered the ladies in India will suffer.

I think Indian women are crazy after gold for two reasons.
First and formost reason is these females are mad for jewellery and would love to show off in parties and social gathering . So , I do agree with you on first point.
Secondary is gold is considered to be safest way of investment in India as investment in gold has been done from centuries. It gives you proper returns if you buy aunthetic gold .
I hate dowry and didn't took a single penny from my in-laws . Even not a single ring we demanded or took from my-in-laws so can't speak about what is happening in marriages and all .

Its not craziniest.
it is just they see gold as a good investment for their future. The price of gold is increasing now and then.The yjust being practical also why they spend their money for expensive things that will be useless in the future. Gold you can sell it for a high cost also.

Mostly women love to be fantasy..They want to be too good looking...They love to spend more money in making them beautiful nad attractive...They spend more money in makeup items,beauty parlour,ornamnents,sarees..The costliest one is ornaments..They spend in getting ornaments made from gold like ring,stud,necklace,braclets etc..They want to show that they live luxurious life putting their partners in trouble...Moreover our tradtion is like that..for every function or any ceremony its a must to compliment gold..
so consolidating it women are crazy for gold is that they want to look beautiful,want to show off the society they lead a luxury life also its a investment too..because gold value keeps on increasing day by day..so we dont find any loss in investing the money in gold...thats it..i am not saying all women..few women....
