what is the best thing you ve got for your birthday

I have received a lot of things on my bithdays but the most pleasant and the surprising thing was my doggie. My dad gifted me the doggie on my birthday and i was so happy the whole day. I didn't want to eat or drink but just play with my new friend. Untill date i cherish those moments.

My best birthday gift I ever got came from my boyfriend. We celebrated the whole weekend! First he threw me a surprise party, took me to a resort, with rose petals on the floor leading to the bed, made love to me ending the night in the jacuzzi with champagne and champagne glasses, one said "bride" and one said "groom." Best present I have ever had, him or no one else has been able to top that yet.

WOW this is really hard but I would have to say that my last birthday I receieved something I have been wanting for some time now. My mother and my only son decided to take me a restaurant that I have been dying to go to for about a year. Now it is not the restaurant that was the best gift it was the time with my mother and my son. I dont ever get to spend time with them anynor like we used to when it waso nly me and my son. I have been asking my mom for a day or even a couple hours of just he and I go out and do something together for mother daughter time and she has not been able to do it and honestly neither have I so to have that time with her and my son really meant alot to me.

i would have to say for my 40th birthday, i bought a saab on ebay (a convertible) used, but beautiful, black, cute-my mid life crisis car,, and my husband flew out to pennsylvania to finish the purchase, and he drove it home for me!!! it was the most fun i ever had.. and then a bunch of my friends surprised me by coming over and bringing cocktails, and dinner.. it was a very fun time.. i now have a sensible sedan, as i crashed the car a year ago! not fun to crash a convertible.

I have cherished every birthday present I have received, but there are some that stand out. My birthday is close to Christmas and my parents didn't have much money so when one year they bought me a pair of brand new (not second-hand) figure skates I thought they had given me the world. This year the Canadian Figure Skating championships were in Halifax and my husband bought me tickets for my birthday. He looked after the kids (three under 2 years old) for two days while we watched the action in person.

I have received so much for birthday presents. But what impressed me so much was that my dad made a lot of dishes for me and I also made cake for him because we were born on the same day(not a same year, of course).
