Baseball season is about to start. Which is your favorite team and how do you think they will do this season?

My Mets will do well this season. It looks good for the Red Sox. Their new pitcher from Japan looks good. My Dodgers should do well. And The Nats will try, but with the loss of Alfonso Soriano, who knows.

Oh, I think the Mets will be excellent. David Wright is still hot, and if Tom Glavine keeps the hot streak he was on at the end of last season, they can be contenders for sure!

No. 2, my man Derek Jeter - This is Derek Jeter in Arlington during a game he played against the Texas Rangers. By the way, the Yankees won!
People are NOT going to like me, but my favorite team is the New York Yankees. I admire how Jeter hustles on every play, unlike some other players I won't mention (see Manny Ramirez: )). I think if Carl Pavano can picth effectively they will have a solid year. I don't doubt Andy Pettite will return to form, but I DO NOT want Roger Clemens to return, even though I like him. But I'm also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. David Eckstein and Albert Pujoles are inspirations. I do hope Tony LaRussa gets his life straightened out. DUI's are nothing to be played with.

Well, I'm not fond of the Yankees but I respect your right to like them. I do like Derek Jeter. A sure-fire hall of famer. D-Backs will take the NL and beat your Yanks in the World Series again.

Diamondbacks, they have great young talent and did i forget to mention the Big Unit. Now i know he's not the same elite pitcher he use to be, but he's still a great asset to the pitching rotation. It also helps that they are in the weakest division in the MLB.

The St. Louis Cardinals are my favorite team. I believe the World Series Champions have a good chance of repeating which is highly unusual for a WS Champ to repeat. Second team is Kansas City Royals and then, Washington Nationals. I think Royals will improve this season but not make post season play. I do think think the Nationals will make the playoffs this year.

I think the Nationals and Royal are in serious trouble. All they need is to retain some of their best stars and sign them to long term deals. So many good Royals have been lost because management is unwilling to spend the money.
