What do you do to credit grabbers at work?

there is a guy at work who was promoted by grabbing the credits from somebody else. He is disliked by his colleagues and staff. He shows insecurity by always reminding people around him how good he is that he is promoted to his position. He doesn't care about his staff just as long as he "looks good" with management. He highlights an effort clearly done by his staff, but he will ever mention the persons efforts, owning all the credits to himself. But if there is an issue, he is very fast in putting the blame on others. He is very good in covering his tracks, making sure that management will not see through his schemes. I just hope he makes a mistake and soon!

As much as it sucks to hear ... what goes around comes around. Eventually he will end up hanging himself. People that take credit for what others have done will eventually be held accountable for things. If they are bragging about what they can do or taking credit for what others have done, some day someone is going to call him on it and then he'll be left with nothing to 'prove' what he's been bragging about. Know what I mean?
