My daughter had to get her last set of shots yesterday. She will be two in May. Welp, considering she is a huge cry baby and cries over almost everything, I figured our trip to the doctor wasn't going to be a bed of roses. Well, first of all I took both of them in and it took 2 hours. So you can imagine by the end of the trip i was done. All we were waiting for was for them to come give her her shots and then we could go. So, the nurse came in gave her two shot, one in each arm, let me tell you, my child didn't cry, didn't say ouch, didn't flinch or anything. I was like you have to be kidding me. Her expression did not even change. This was the first time she didn't cry at all. The last times she only cried a little even with her ears pireced. My child is odd.

I'm glad she did ok. 2 hours is a long time for little ones. I'm assuming you took 2 kids? I'd try to schedule them separately next time, to avoid anything like that happening again. It's more inconvienent for you, but might be easier on them. My DS is 15 months and has done well with his shots too. I like that a nurse gives him the shots, so that he doesn't associate his doctor with the shot. :)

Wow that's great! Consider yourself lucky! My daughter is only 4 months old and I hate taking her to get shots cuz she screams sooo much! I hope she ends up not crying like your daughter!

How lucky you are! My daughters do that as well, they barely breathe as the needle goes in. But, I've also promised them a trip to the McDonald's Playland if they are "good" at the dr. office. My oldest on the other hand is terrible. When he was getting Kindergarten booster shots, It took, me, and two nurses to hold him down to give him his shot. I pray that I don't have to do that again! He's getting to big for me to sit on. LOL!
