I was sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's office, and this six-year had McDonalds, a happy meal with the drink, I guess that wasn't fulfilling enough because then the mom starts to nurse the kid, right there in the waiting room! Can you believe that? How old is too old?

I nurse my son but he is 3 months old! I am also very careful out in public and I am ALWAYS covered. I am going to try to nurse until my son is 1 but not past that. I think that once the kid is old enough to walk up to you and tell you that they want to eat...that is too old!

I think it's good that the child and mother share a bond, but that borderlines on sickening. *runs off like a little girl going ewwwwwwwwww!* The kid is also gonna end up messed up. He or she will realize how backwards this was later in life and most likely be embarrassed.

whoa, that is far too old to still be bre*stfeeding!
like someone above said, if the child can literally ask for something to drink, its FAR TOO OLD to nurse! lol
not to mention...a lot of ppl can recall memories of even younger than 6years old..what kind of influence on the mental and emotional state would nursing that long have??
and wouldnt that be putting an unhealthy strain on the mother to continue producing milk for 6years straight??!!

Six years old is WAY to old to be nursing!! I think once kids start talking and can communicate well they need to stop nursing....when a kid is old enough to ask for a drink they don't need to be getting it from mom's bo*b anymore!!
