What do you think about moms that nurse their children in public?

I dont find anything wrong with it. I am actually one of them! I am always very considerate of the people around and I make sure that I am covered. Its a natural thing and its very healthy for mother and baby. If you dont agree with nursing in public do you give dirty looks or rude comments?

As long as you don't have you breat hanging out in a place that you know would make other unconfortable then what is the big deal? Do you eat in public? Why does a new born have to wait if they are hungery and you don't. I would and have made sure that everything was covered well in a pulic setting.

Not only is it perfectly alright with me, I applaud the moms who are comfortable enough nursing in public despite the ignorant comments they may have heard on the subject elsewhere. I always nursed my daughter in public - and will my next babe as well - and dare anyone to say anything. Luckily, I received nothing but nice comments - especially when we flew across the country when our daughter was not quite three months old. Several passengers remarked on how sweet and quiet she was, and asked how we managed it. So I told them. :)

I dont think theres anything wrong with it. Go for it and if some one is offend then they can get over it. They dont eat there lunch in the bathroom . Why would you expect a child to.

I think that it is fine. Whatever the mom is comfortable doing is up to her. I don't have a problem with it and don't know why others would since it is a natural thing.

I don't have problem with it and I do it myself. Why should babies have to wait to eat! I did it more when my daughter was younger. She's nine months old now and it is difficult to keep her covered because she's so active. Now I bring her snacks like cheerios in case she gets hungry. I make sure that I am covered so that people don't become uncomfortable.

You're right. Nursing a baby is definitely a natural thing. I don't mind nursing my baby in public especially if he is already so hungry. I used to do that whenever we travel and I could no longer give him a bottle. I have no qualms nursing him in public. In fact, I feel proud because I felt fulfilled as a woman, and I wanted everybody to see that I am a mother to a cute little baby, and at the moment is feeding him with my own milk.
