The three ways to make money are as follows.
Post many responses. Post an image with a
discussion you start. The big money is in
REFERRALS. Spread the word. the more people
who join using your link the more you make.
Other than that just enjoy sharing your thoughts.

Hi there , I think posting a discussion earns you a lot of money than responding. You get 3-5 cents for starting a discussion and 2 cents for responding. I don't know whether you'll get paid for the responses to the discussion you started.Post some sensible topics to earn more.

are you sure it is that much to start discussions?
I know if you attach a picture, it's an extra penny (big deal....)
I think we should all protest mylot to give its members more money for doing this...it does take alot of time to make anything at all....I am not even over the 3.00 mark!

It depends. If you can get over 10 responses to your discussion, you are going to make money for the post plus the responses. If you aren't great at getting a lot of responses, you may as well just post answers.

as for me its better to respond since you can earn more it really depends though on how long you response is and how many have you had made for the day as well. ive earned much by answering more in mylot than posting some discussions and it makes a lot easier for me though and i enjoy answering a lot of discussions as well.
