This is a healthy animal that 'animal lovers' feel should be put down, so it does not have to suffer the indignities of being raised as a 'pet'

What do you think?
I think these animal rights people are pushing the envelope, this is an adorable creature that was abandoned by Mom, I think it deserves the right to live. Killing it would not accomplish anything or benefit anyone or anything!

I also read this on gather. I cannot believe how feelingless people can be. It is sad that they want to kill it. I think it is so cute.

I know..these must be very cold people to even think of doing this..much less verbalizing it.

You hear save the seals then kill the polar bears....leave them all alone.

What I don't understand is that this bear was born in captivity. What did it lose by being kept alive by mankind instead of its mother? Makes no sense to me. I hate to see animals kept in captivity all around but I try to understand the reasoning behind it and have seen many species remain alive due to them being kept in zoos and breeding areas. I often think "activists" of any type tend to be over the top ranting fools.

This cub indeed should be raised and placed in a zoo to live out its days. We do need to take responsibility and keep these creatures alive so that we never lose them and upset our balance anymore than it has already been done. That group needs to find balance.

I agree, this cub should live, anyone who suggests putting it down, should be put down themselves.
They need to find something else to harp about.

Wow, I can not see any reason why the zoo should not be allowed to continue the care of this bear. Dang it makes me angry that killing is just so easy anymore. One day we will not have polor bears in the wild or in captivity. I wonder what the activists will be saying then?
