Why is is that when we love someone he seems to perfect in our eyes. We don't see there mistakes and shortcomings. All we see are their good side. Is is really true that love is blind or we just cannot accept that we choose to be with the wrong person?

Its natural for every person to be competitive... we want that everything we must have will be good also for the eyes of other people... it is the same when it comes to love... choosing of someone to love is difficult coz' we only discover what's the real personality of a person if we're going to live with them... so regrets is always there after every decision has made...

When someone loves, a metaphor to say blinds to to see someone's mistakes. Love keeps no records of wrongs. Therefore we are cautious at what a person does. Common sense and logic when we see someone that does something wrong, we wouldn't sit there to see what happens next. For one to love is to forgive. We love someone because we care of them and don't want them to see hurt or we hurt them.

Leonette,
It's supposed to be true that 'love is blind' and that when first in love we don't see what the others see!
I guess it's the only way nature can pair us all up lol!
Blind love can turn into something far deeper and more lasting though don't you think?
If it doesn't and we - the one in love - can suddenly see all the (now) glaringly obvious) faults of our loved one - then it could be a case of turning a blind eye and loving the person irrespective of their faults or weighing up the situation and making for the nearest exit.
I guess it a case of what the faults are isn't it?
Some things niggle more than others don't they?
