Poppit was aptly named. He pops up and down everywhere. He is a very, and I must stress very playful little boy. He reminds me of a 4 y/o human boy. When he goes out he runs to the back fence to play with the neighbor's dog and I swear it looks just like a boy running all out, elbows pumping, little feet flying, head down. Cute as can be. Also just like any little boy he loves to play in water puddles.
He sometimes acts as if there is a 2 inch leash from his neck to my ankle and if anyone besides my husband or I are in the house he just sits and growls at them. The funniest thing in the world is to see a 5 lb. toy poodle growling at someone for being in his house. He won't make up to my adult kids even. With us he is loving and playful, but with the rest of the world he is unsociable. Except for jumping on my legs he is very well- behaved he also loves curling up on Mommy or Daddy's lap. Actually he walks up his Daddy( when he is reclining in his chair) and lies down under his chin. He just falls over into his spot like someone pushed him from the side. I love my poodle.

i have 3 poodles: Billy, Ruby and Phoebe.
Billy is the older, he's sweet, playful and a little shy with strangers. Ruby is very extrovert, she likes strangers and children and she's a bit nervous sometimes. Phoebe is the youngest, she's very, very playful and a little crazy too. lol she's always running around the house, she's so electric.
they are so smart!
i love them! they are my joy, my life and i can't live without them.

My fourteen year old poodle is so much like a puppy still! He is blind in one eye now but he his still the cutest thing in the world. I love how he looks so happy just walking with a bounce in his step! Joy is the absolutely right word!

Our poodle, Jinsky, is such a playful dog. He loves acting like a baby. He also feels that he's human and sleeps on our beds and watches TV like we do. He is also such a jealous dog since he wants to remain as the only baby in the house.

I use to have one. I found him roaming around one rainy day when I was a kid and brought him home with me. My mom made me toss him back outside she said she didn't want the dog. I cried and she gave in. lol So out in the rain I went to find him again brought him in and gave him a warm bath and cleaned him up. I named him snowball because he was an off-white color. I had him for 18 years and he was full grown when I found him so know telling how old he was. He was a pretty good dog. He didn't really care for men and boys though when they would get near me he would have a fit. They are great lap dogs. well the small ones are. They are also almost a personal dog one on one they seem to like best unless brought up from a pup around several people.

He was a wonderful companion to find and after finding your family he lived a long and happy life. Snowball was a great name for him. Yes, poodles are a personal dog and my two follow me and sit by my side. Yes, Snowball was perhaps scared of men and boys like my mum's cat was dustbin men. Thanks for your excellent response.

I gave my God Daughter a teacup poodle for her 3rd birthday. Well, I gave it to her mother & had her permission to get it. Mona was a great dog. Very playful, & affectionate but also protective in her little 6 pound body. She recently passed away. When the family decides they are ready for another dog, I'll more than likey find another poodle for them.

I have one, his name is Nicky and his 10 years old. For a poodle he's still young, at least he's always playing, jumping aroung and entertaining us.
He's brown and his size is probably medium and he's very, very cute. He loves to be around us and loves cuddling.
Sometimes he's boring too but I love him :)

I like poodles ,my friend has an apricot coloured poodle,it has a pedigree, and is a very good pet,but a lttle bit nervous. There is a big plus point of a poodle and that is that they dont cast their coat,so you havent got the constsnt battle with the dog hair.

Tyler's a white poodle and he really knows when to chill out and relax. I was very surprised at this. He's also reeeally mawkish. Too friendly though. I don't think he'd be very good if our house ever got robbed. Anyone who comes in gets treated like family. ANYONE!

Actually shes a cross breed between a poodle and a terrier. We named her 'Cotton' because of the way she looks...:-) Shes been with us for so many years now. She's so loyal and protective. She acts so brave and barks a lot. But when you actually come near her, she gets afraid.

I have a Toy Poodle. He is very playful, and he's full of energy. Whenever I get up, he gets up. And he's very nosy too. lol. He always has to know what's going on, and if he can't he becomes frustrated. He hates the sound of the doorbell, and the phones ringing. But he is a very sweet dog. Never depressed, and always happy to see me.
