would you prefer to have your on career or be a plain housewife?

i want to have a my own career. i think i gain more respect from my husband if i can also contribute to the family's needs. i also want to have my own personal achievements aside from being a good mom and wife. but if my husband earns so much which will be sufficient for my family i'll gladly give up working but perhaps i want to handle a business for a hobby. what about u?

I would rather have a career that I could be successful in myself I think I would get bored with the daily routines at home and it would eventually make me feel bored and unhappy with my life

Let me first state that I am a guy.
When I was looking for a girl to get married and people were coming with suggestions.. and a lot of people asked me what kind of girl do you want..??
So I always answered that I would like a girl who could be independent and could stand on her feet incaise something happens to me. She should be educated and professionally qualified to start a career on her own either a business or could pick a decent job.
And I think women even if they are not interested in a job right now or they only want to be housewife.. they should have a professional degree for any mishappening!
