I love using coupons. I've discovered that is how I contribute close to half of the money that I contribute to our household finances since I'm a work at home mom.
I sign up for any coupons that I will be using that I can find online. I also get the newspaper everyday and cut coupons out of them. If you have coupons you won't use, you can usually trade them with someone else, either on a forum, or with people you actually know.
Watch for sales, too. Recently the commissary had some Gerber snacks on sale that my son loves! They were on sale for $1.21 compared to the normal $1.76. I had a $1.00 off coupon that I printed from their website so I got the package for 21 cents.
Sometimes stores have their own instore coupons, too. They will usually let you use them, along with a manufacturers coupons, so you can get other things for just pennies as well.
If you want some more ideas, or places you can check out to get some coupons, feel free to add me to your friends and send me a message. I know of some good places to get all kinds of coupons from pets, to babies, to groceries, and so on. I would be happy to pass them on.
Last time I went to the commissary to grab just a few things I spent $18.75 or so. I saved over $25 because of coupons.

I used to be absolutely coupon obsessed, but it didn't do me much good here. Only one coupon insert in our piddly Sunday paper, and Wal-Mart (where I shop for groceries 99% of the time) doesn't take the coupons you can print online. (If you shop somewhere that does take them, though, definitely check out Coolsavings.com!)
The way I saved the most with coupons was by joining coupon trading websites (my favorite of which I can't seem to find the stinking link for - grrrr.) The only downside to those are that you really need to keep EVERY coupon that you come across, in case that's what someone needs that has something you want (did that make sense?) I kept small envelopes labeled into categories - frozen foods, cleaning items, baby items, etc. - to keep them all separated, as well as a running list in Word so I knew what I had. Made it easier to post my list and make matches that way. I did save a good bit of money doing this, but the hassle of keeping up with all eventually became too much.
Hope you find a system that works well for you!

I use manufactures coupons along with store coupons for the added extra cents off. I also use the same when there are sales on those itmes. I also swap coupons with friends and neighbors as I can't use all that I get in the mail etc. Some times here the stores have double coupon days also. That's when the savings are great. Also use the rebates for items to save even more. Happy shopping. LOL
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!
