When there is a good sale going on or at the first of the month.

There is no point in buying clothes just for the sake of it, but whilst you are out and spot a bargain of something that you could use later on then by all means buy it, knowing that you have picked up a good bargain.
Have a good day from Deeeky.

I do both. I shop when there are really good sales and I know I am getting my money's worth, plus a bargain gives me a really good, natural high. On the other hand, I often wait until I need things and then I have no choice but to spend full price. I did get a great deal on a winter coat this year. I waited until after the holidays and I got a coat at fifty percent off the original price.

i shop whenever i feel like doing it regardless of the price. im really choosy and when i got to like something i have to buy it cause it's hard for me to look and find another one that would be to my satisfaction. so when i saw clothes in a shop that i really like, i'd buy it right away.

I usually wait and do my shopping at sales time.with this way i buy same things with better prices so the most of the time I buy one season and I wear the next more. This about the most of the shopping but because i have a son many times i shop when he needs new things without I looked the sales time.

Another place you can try to shop for clothes if you are looking for a deal is with second-hand stores. We have quite a few here in California that I love going to, and they are usually great quality and high fashion brands for much lower prices. They usually do not take articles of clothing for sale unless they are in great condition anyways, so you can usually trust what they are offering. At least, if it is a reputable shop.

I usually wait for the opposite season. For instance, purchasing shorts and t-shirts is usually better in the winter, when the run for clothes are for sweaters, jackets, and other warmer clothes. Then I also wait for the summer to purchase those winter articles. It usually works out that those are the clothes that are on sale or clearance because most stores are looking to make room to further supply their stock for the current season.
If there is something that I really like, then I will go ahead and buy it, regardless of the cost. I like certain brands and articles of clothing that are usually higher priced and tend to stay the same price regardless of the season or sales.
However, another trick I use it eBay. There are a lot of people on eBay who sell "wholesale" lots of clothes. I might buy an entire lot, and then turn around and re-sell it, keeping only the articles of clothing that I originally wanted anyway. If I can make any sort of profit, then I can walk away without having to pay much for the clothes at all.

i do wait for the 'sale' sign to be put up by the branded clothes stores. but otherwise, i pick up clothes whenever i come across an appealing dress and if its price fits my budget.

Of course, when you have the budget for it =) Or could be whenever there's a sale, or when you're depressed.. shopping is one way of releasing your tension and stress coz' you're able to reward yourself with something that you think you deserve to have ;)

I usually try to wait for the sales ... sometimes it's hard though ...
But more and more often I shop online because I use reward programs which help me save a lot on what I buy ....
But I like to spend time shopping around to find the best deal possible
