eating snow

i remember when i was young we would eat snow with maple syrup...we would get clean snow lol ..i was just wondering if kids still do that or has our world become so polluted you can't eat snow anymore? i grew up in maine so the first snow was always a big thing..it was so pretty..anyway i was just wondering if kids still eat snow?

They do something similar to this in parts of Quebec - I believe it's called Maple Taffy.

Several years ago when my husband and I were in college we made snow ice cream. I had never had it before but he insisted. He used a little milk, sugar and vanilla. I guess the thought going through my mind was, "Oh my goodness, what am I about to do?" But I tried it and it was pretty good. I remember when I was little we lived in Alaska and my sister and I would eat snow, but I guess we were not very inventive because we didn't put anything on it. I'll have to tell my husband about your maple syrup snow...I'm sure he'll want to try it!

I think if that's a clean snow, kids can eat it..lol I came from the country that has no snow or winter, so i haven't experience to eat a snow or to play with this very white thing. I think it's fun to play on the snow, right? And i'm sure kids really have a good time to play in the snow and eating snow, too..lol
