Man or Computer?

Of course man is better than computer because computer is made by man and computer cannot run without a program or operating system made by man. Computer is only piece of junk that run because the program made by human. so computer is nothing without human.

definately man because man has made computer not computer made man or the programme is set up by man not by computer itself and computer is handled by man not itself. so man is superior than computer. thanks.

Man is still far more superior than computers. Man invented computers. Man operates computers. Man gives life to computers thru programming. Man also revolutionized computers. The evolution of computers is impossible without man. Although computers can think way faster than man, they are designed by man, not by themselves. So no contest here really.

Of course it's man. Men can think while the computer just run.. Computer only do what they are program to do.

This is a very thought-provoking question. Since Man invented the computer, Man is still superior compared to computers in terms of creativity. Computers can't think for themselves; they have no feelings, no creativity, no natural imagination and can't do much except carrying out the commands input into them. However, I believe with the advent of AI, that would be history. What was pictured in The Matrix could very well happen in real life, suppose Man is stupid enough to go and develop computers that evolve, grow and repair themselves. When that happens, we'll be inferior to them in terms of intelligence. But without electricity, they won't run. Now who discovered electricity? Man. I guess that tips the scale to our side - we're much more superior than computers generally.

computers are faster when compared to humans.signals travel at around 300 miles per hour in our nerves but for computers it is in thousands.But we out do them in parallel processing.Still the human body(and also the other living creatures)are the most efficient analog systems ever discovered .

at this point in time man is better than the computer since a computer is only made by man, however a time will come when computers will have advanced AI and can think for themselves, then most probably a computer would be better.

Man made computers. Everything that computers do has came from man. ;D Good question, really. The only way I would say that computers are superior to man is that..If there is a program that is able to build itself. I strongly believe this is impossible. Sure, there are programs and viruses that change shape as to avoid getting scanned and deleted.. but the viruses don't make themselves better, they just change shape to avoid detection.
