Reality shows on TV

Ever wonder why most programs on TV today are reality shows?! There are very few that make sense. The one I detest the most is 'I love new york'. Surfing the channels one day I managed to see this show for a couple of seconds and man... I dont think there can be anything else thats worse!! Really mean it... its totally sad! Or can there be more such??! Is there a reality TV show you just cant stand?!
