well, i did an experiment the other day, i put some icecubes in a cup and waited for it to melt and when it did guess what! the amount of water stayed the same!
no way earth will flood in the next couple of decades that is what i'am hearing so i don't know.
Anyone afraid of global warming?

Well for one, ice doesn't have the same volume as an equal amount of water. That is why when you leave a water bottle in the freezer it explodes. The ice expands. So that is wrong.
For two, the ice caps are at the north and south, floating in water. If you leave ice in water, the melted ice water added to teh original water is more than just the water beforehand.
If the ice melted, the water would have to go somewhere...
