from the moment I get in the shower to the moment I go out the front door is usually about an hours time. And I have a very set routine that I follow, which works for me.

When i am getting ready for work in the morning i usually get up a hour and half before i have to leave because i need some time to wake up, watch the news, catch up on email and mylot LOL,drink my tea. It usually takes me about 25 minutes to get ready and head out the door for work. It takes me about a hour to get ready to head out the door on the weekends. from shower to out the door.

I like to get up an hour early so I have time to take my shower, have a cup of coffee and sit and check my emails while having my coffee and then by that time I have a few minutes to gather the things I need to head out the door..some days I don't do the email and head out early if I am tired so I don't just sit and get more tired.

I am actually very quick. I'd say about 30 min tops even when we're going somewhere special.

Including eating breakfast, it takes me around an hour. But if I need to get out of the house at the soonest without eating, 30 minutes will do fine.

Well, I work at home, so I don´t really get ready. I just get up, walk two steps to the computer and start working. Unless my son wakes me up, then I get him breakfast right off the bat. I usually don´t get dressed and cleaned up until after he is awake because those precious moments of silence are perfect for getting some work done!

Hi daycarepal, it takes me too long...LOL!!! I am getting older and I want to take it slow in the mornings. So, I get up earlier so that I can have the shower, I can't seem to just shower at night and get up and get dressed, I need to shower again, it wakes me up! I watch the news, sit on the end of my made up bed...In total, it probably takes me 1 1/2 hours to get ready in the morning...I feel good taking my time...Nice question...take care...

Before I had children I could get ready in an hour! With children it may take 2 hours to get out the front door. I have to get them ready as well.

i always give myself one hour allowance before my office calltime to give myself enough time to get ready.
i love indulging myself in a looong bath which took me 45 minutes to finish. I try to stretch the rest of my time getting dressed up and going office.
thanks god that my house is so near my office and it only take me one to two minutes to go there riding a motorcycle.

If I have somewhere to go where I know I will be in the public's eye for a while, It will take me two hours. If I am just running to the store, I'll just take a shower and comb my hair back. If I am taking the kids, about 4-5 hours. only because I have to actually watch them or they'll never do what they are supposed to. (smile) Then I can enjoy getting myself ready, without having to worry with who don't have their shoes on or haven't brushed their teeth yet, if you have children you know what I mean.
