i was wondering whether you can be with someone in a committed relationship but consider another person as your soul mate?

I suppose you could but wouldnt that mean you were in a committed relationship but not really comitted? Or am I reading this wrong.

perhaps i was wondering if having someone else whom you consider as your confidante and the person who knows you best is a form of emotional cheating?
