I need help!

Well, I think I'm doing this right but who doesn't like to be sure? Don't call me a noob or anything... I'm in the human campaign. The Culling. The first time I tried I was working on killing all of them villagers and killing Mac Gainas when he respawned. Unfortunately when I reached like 50 or so killed villagers all the ses undead guys started to show up near my base. My two guard towers were doing their jobs and I had some footmen there to help out. I didn't send my other troops who were helping Arthas (who were at the same time fighting a fierce battle with MacGainas and his minions) because they were busy. Arthas stayed with them too. I was like trying to spawn soldiers but its pretty hard when you have one barracks. By the time I got to 64 villagers killed, both guard towers were down and out. The workers were all militia at this point and were dying quickly. My barracks were being slowly destroyed and they were working on my scout towers soon enough. Arthas was still back where he was, with his team of two knights and 5 footmen. (They were all working as one unit to take down the house)Then the barracks were destroyed. Then the Undead units worked on my Town Hall. I was doomed. And tragedy strikes when Arthas himself dies. So I need a revision of strategy. I tried it again. I went west and there were no Undead camps there, which was really weird. I killed the guys there though. And if you go South all you see is this clearing. Once I did see like 5 Ghouls and I killed them. So where did the mass of Undead come from? In my first try, at my base I added a farm to the ones already there. I think I added a guard tower to the two there. There was only one barracks there. That was pretty much all I did. I know should've built more if I expected to win. So what buildings should I build? In the original campaign, I added like two or three footmen already in the camp to accompany Arthas and he also took the knights with him. I know I should have built two groups to take on the villagers at once. I also know I should've added more types of units. So which units should I add? That's pretty much all I need for help.
