everone of us have avatars or eventually will have one. we have search or at least put an effort to it. some may have deliberated on what will be a better selection from among their photos. some may have conciously reasearched the internet that seems to represent them in whole or in part. anyone that may have at least been exposed to the internet, say at least 24hrs total, would create himself an identity. for those of us who have long been crazed to be a netizen :-) may already have found a familiar "us" in the internet world. also some of us, with the immense versatility of the internet, may have created multiple personality here. your share of that will be a great insight to the kind of people that composes the citizenry of this parallel world we call "INTERNET". please give your share.

My avatar is a hamster driving a little car. I'll be honest. I didn't put much thought in the selection of my avatar. I picked this one while in a rush.
Still, in part, it does represent me. I like small, furry animals and hamsters fall under that category. I'm also considered small because of my petite stature, so in some way, I'm like the little hamster.
So, I guess, in the end, subconsciously, I have still selected an avatar that represents me.

this , what i have put on mylot is made by me only. i love to sketch and paint. i think , if u ask how its related to me , the, i think , the eyes . because wo so ever see , they say that my eyes matches with that of my sketch.
so, how do u like my avatar????????????????

My user name is purpleteddybear because I love purple and I love teddy bears. I did have an avatar of a purple teddy bear for a while, but I switched to this purple eye because I really like it!

obviously this must have impresses you much. those eyes looks mesmerizing as well as beguiling to me, very well selected too. one cant see commonly those color in an eye, do we :-)

Well I couldn't really find one great link between my persona and my avatar. My avatar is in fact a rotating dice [but I think it's not rotating when it's not viewed full size] - i got it ffrom www.gdpit.com and I just love it!
There though is something wrong about it: all its faces have 6 holes!!! How wrong could that be???
But no matter how wrong it gets, I loved it the moment I saw it.. It might take long before I replace it...

well its not necessary that it should have any direct reference to you, but the mere fact that you choose it for a reason - liking how it looks is enough already, it then become not an accident of selection. with regards to the 6 holes, your guess will be as good as mine.

You've seen my avatar, haven't you? It is a cat, a cute cat with a pathetic expression. I chose it of course not because it represents me. I am not a pathetic guy. I just thought it funny and I like animals as well. Each time I see this picture I give myself a light smile. It brings me a good emotion. That is why. So simple, isn't it?

yep ive seen it, so darn cute, i dont see it pathetic though, its more mesmerizing, that perhaps how you are - mesmerizing. ive seen the movie too very entertaining, funny & witty. & that cat is tough as it is cute.

Hi, I chose this picture because it is the only picture of me getting blown up that I have, I could put in something much more freaky, but, I'm sure everyone would run for the hills screaming heeby jeebies.

This was actually taken years ago when I did a stunt training course, this was fun, beaten up, runover and blown up all in 1 day.
I haven't practiced bouncing off a car bonnet and flying up in the air and over the car for a few years, I wonder if I've still got it in me?
I used to be able to do it and land on my feet and walk away.
Ha ha ha.

wait a minute man...u seriuos? u sound like one. but if it is youve got the coolest hobby for fun though i wouldnt even dare try it for second. maybe jumping & running but no blowing please, cant have the conciousness of trying to locate & count your body parts everytime u do things like this.

my avatar was seafood at first, because it is my favourite dish. the current one is just a picture I found in my drawer, taken some years ago in a party. It is my picture with husband but I didn't put it up until I reached 100 posts here. I guess I only do things when I'm sure it's the right thing to do and it takes some time for me to make up my mind, so now you know how I am.

Actually my avatar is myself. I never realized that I can use other figure or image. That is why the green image which turns out to be a mylot avatar is unfamiliar with me. Because when I registered here in mylot, I immeditely posted my photo as my avatar. But anyway, you have the idea of how I look. So maybe I'll do my own research to change my avatar too. In the meantime I'd like to concentrate first on posting topics and responding to topics.

i do have special respect for people who can post their real pictures in the internet, let alone have it as an avatar which is displayed in every posts. im kinda sensitive when people would start making fun or commenting of ones picture, call it sensitivity if you want, i guess its just me. btw since you mentioned changing it, as for me you dont have to, i feel it has become your trademark here now at mylot. one thing about posting real pictures is it adds up some representation of honesty points on your existence here in the internet because you choose not to be anomymous which is the norm. so once you have revealed yourself open, it adds value to your opinion especially if you are, at one or any point of time, would emphasize reality but im sure you have realized this too.
i can see that you are one of the busiest mylotters here, your a very competitive person at that. happy posting.
