(I know we've got plenty of Indian friends in this community, in fact they are the top users by location here in mylot with 21720 as to date.) Hi guys, hope you are all doing great. Please don't get me wrong with this question. I'm just curious and my apologies for not knowing it at all. What I've notice with some Indian women is they have that red dot in the middle of their forehead or how exactly do you call that? Is that a symbol of something Or what is that all about? thank you...

hi!! I am from India. We call it as "Bindi" (pronounced as Beendii) Ya the big red "bindi" lets us know that this woman is married. While girls put black or any other "bindi" I hope now its clear.
