someone put you down.....

I have been humiliated and put down several times. What I did is to turn my anger and frustration into something positive, I worked doubly hard, outperforming everybody, wanting to go out with a bang. Those who put me down eventually resigned. Now, I'm holding the position held by the same person who lambasted and humiliated me. I think I have the last laugh.
