Do you tend to be the quiet and shy type? Tongue tied or don't know what to say? Or are you the type that is outgoing and can spark a good conversation? I do believe communication is very important from learning from others.

I tend to be pretty shy in most company. I will speak my mind when I'm passionate about something and enjoy good-natured debate, but in social situations such as out at clubs or when meeting new friends, I tend to sneak back in my shell again. However, once I get to know people a bit I really open up and am by no means shy or quiet! Just the opposite, in fact, I never shut up! There will always be certain people who make me uncomfortable, but with my friends I am always at ease.

I agree that communication is very important in every day life. But the question, for me anyway, is a little tough to answer. The reason i say this, is because i'm not one way or the other. At times i can be quiet and shy, with certain people, others i get toung tied, but at only certain times, and then 9 times out of ten, i spark a conversation, i talk a lot, some say too much. and i can get people interested in what i'm saying quite regularily. It has a lot to do with my mood, and the people i'm around. I don't get intimidated easily, but some people, they just being out the quiet in me, others bring out a lot of talk, and then usually some of the same ones that bring out the talk from me, sometimes have the ability to toung tie me, but not many, just the ones that know me well, and know how to stump me :)

i used to be the silent type. Overly timid and shy that i didnt feel comfortable talking aloud or with people. Until suddenly for some reason i got a boost of energy and spoke up! Even my teacher in high school was surprised hehe they used to appreciate and been nominated for most behaved :) The all of a sudden i like to talk, i enjoy talking. I feel in charge when i can say my opinions and say what i want to say :)

it is a case to case basis. I shy away when people talk about gossip or people that I know of, I shy away, i don't want to say things against that person. On the other hand, if people would talk about events, funny situations, ideas, business, forex, philosophy, food, or anything that interests me, or anything that I can learn something from, I think I can contribute to that conversation.

Often times when I dont know the crowd I tend to be very silent and try to be very observant around. But when the crowd is familiar I am more confident to talk.
