Maybe its not a crime but it should be. Infact, in India too now, if the cops catch you then you get fined (atleast some places in bombay u do). There are also signs put up everywhere asking people not to pee there. It takes time to change things and I am sure it will soon in India too. besides the disgusting factor, it is not a very hygienic thing to do too as people pass by public places all the time.

it is a fine here where i live, and that is just unsanitary! good way to spread diseases, like hiv, or anthing else. what is the reasoning for this activity?

it's a nasty habit.
you get fined 454 dollars where i live.
there are times, like out in the woods, where it can be overlooked, but in the city?there's no excuse for that.
a lot of people start doing that, then you have a health hazard, not to mention the smell.

In the United States of America, you will go to jail and or get fined. It is unsanitary to say the least, let alone ill mannered.

hi. I live in Italy. I don't know if we have a clear law against this ...maybe you will be charged because of danger for public health or something like that...doing this in fact is not only a bad habit, something that may offend us (because it is not nice seeing a man or a woman doing this), but it creates problem for our health...think about the smell and the bacterial aspect of the situation...we have to take care of us and are not allowed to create problems to others because of our behaviour..I hope your state is going to do something against this bad thing
