Have you ever fell for someone who is in a relationship?

The question I have mentioned above was true to what I had a year ago. I fell for someone who is in a relationship.... I need your opinion on this.. Here goes my story: He was my crush since first year college and we get to know each other because of him borrowing a note from me. Since then we became friends and came to the point of him asking me as he termed as "lovers". It was a complicated situation because he has a son with his girlfriend and at the time when we became "lovers" we were both in a relationship. Eventhough that I knew from the start this relationship would not last and wrong for I knew he is in a relationship and with a son but not married I still went through. I have been rationalizing to myself that this would be my chance to show my love and see if my infatuation would get real. But sad to say it didn't work because my conscience keeps bugging me. Right now,we are still friends and see each other though at times we do things what the bf/gf do.... Am i crazy or it's just stupidity?
